Model turned Actor Ravish was born in Mumbai on November 22, 1986. He has done his schooling from G.D Somani School, Cuffe Parade. Ravish has completed his graduation from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. He went on to complete his post graduation as an MBA in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

After finishing his MBA, Ravish worked as a consultant with one of the finest consultancies in the world, JP Morgan Chase, Ernst and Young. One day he decided to quit all of that to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He was always fascinated by cinema during his childhood. Ravish is tremendously inspired by movies and he firmly believes in destiny and hard work. He follows book writers like Paulo Coelho & Robin Sharma.

Ravish began his acting career by modeling for TV commercials.He later then got a movie offer to play the role of Maghesh in Horror Story.He accepted the offer and done his first movie.Just as Horror Story was about to release he took on the role Kunal Shrivistav.He played a positive character as Kunal in the daily soap Meri Bhabhi opposite Shraddha (Kanchi Kaul). With nothing going right for Shraddha the entry of Kritika’s (Esha Kansara) brother, made a turning point. Kunal was a happy go lucky person with no tensions, who came from America. The love story of Kunal and Shraddha finally saw some happy moments, as they both got married.Through Meri Bhabhi he gained a lot positive feedback and gained a lot of popularity.Meri Bhabhi aired its last episode on the 12th of April 2014.A couple of months after Meri Bhabhi ended Ravish featured in a episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui with Riya Bamniyal.Ravish now plays the lead role in Satrangee Sasural as Vihaan opposite Mugdha Chapekar who plays the role of Aarushi.
